Winter Wonderland

Good Morning bloggers....I hope that u are all enjoying the sunshine wherever u are!!! Over on Winter Wonderland this week our theme is to make a Christmas Cracker.....You really should pop over and have a look at the other Design Team's Crackers as they are gorgeous!!!!....


My cracker, consists of a tolilet roll tube, some DCWV Papers, snowflakes, ribbon and a gorgeous Forever Friends sticker cut out using my Nesties......I hope that u like it!!!

Winter Wonderland

Good Morning i am really late posting my Design Team Card for over at Winter Wonderland where the theme is "A Blue Christmas"...pop over and check out all the other DT Cards they are all gorgeous!!!

I have had a manic weekend!!! Why do kids parties all come around at once???? then yesterday I went 2 see Take That....and they were totally and utterly AMAZING!!!! Best concert i have ever been 2!!! It was fab....here are a few pictures...

Creative Card Crew

Wow...a second post from me 2day!!!...lol....i have had a fab afternoon sitting crafting whilst catching up with some CSI's that i had on my sky+ 2 watch.....Ellie has been doing jigsaws and playing dress-up....she told me her new name is Princess peppa doodle.....oh well as long as it is just for the short term and she doesnt still want to be called that in years 2 come...hehehe....

Right onto this card...i have made it for the Creative Card Crew Challenge....I have had this image coloured for ages...(i did use my pro-markers)..lol...and as soon as i saw this challenge i thought Yeah!!! as the challenge there this week is Black+1 other colour and yip...i have chosen Pink...lol..the papers are from DCWV "rockstar", the badge is from Claire's Accessories, the buttons, ribbon, sentiment, flowers and brad are all from my stash!! xx

The Pink Elephant

Hi....the weather is awful here 2day....but since i was only working a half day...i can 4give it...lol...it means that i wont spend the time chasing Ellie around the park but we can sit and be creative 2gether...lol..any excuse 2 make a card!!

I was asked 2 make a Gift voucher wallet for a wedding and to make it just using Black and White..(that is the dress code for the wedding 2)....so i managed 2 incorporate The Pink Elephant Challenge as there theme is "Wedding" this week....

I used Black Patent card, wedding embossing folders, white ribbon, flowers, pearls, and hook and loop. xx

Magnolia Down Under

Good Afternoon!!! I hope that u are all having a terrific Tuesday.....i have managed 2 make this Candle for the "magnolia down Under" challenge which is "all about a boy"...i have made this for a gift for Conor 2 give 2 his teacher at the end of term!!! It is my first attempt at making a candle and am quite happy at the way it has turned out!! i'm sure that i will improve with practice though!!! lol xx

Good Afternoon...I have had a really busy week this week...not sure what i have been doing but it sure wasnt crafting...hehehe...oh well there is always the weekend....lol...I have managed 2 make just a couple of challenge cards...but there are so many on my list i dont think i will ever get to the bottom of it....hehehe...

This card is for Mojo Monday where it is yet again a stunning sketch!! the image is a die-cut decoupage from Daisy and Dandelion "Onion Plays football" the sentiment is from Forever Friends as is the papers...xx

This card is for the Creative Inspirations Challenge where the theme is "Brown and Blue"...the image has been coloured using Pro-Markers, the papers are DCWV, the sentiment is from Forever Friends and the brads and flowers are from my stash!! xx

I've been a busy girlie!!! hehehe

Good Evening....I Hope that u are all well...well i have been a busy bee 2day!!! My Next Door Neighbour's Sister had a baby Girl yesterday so i was asked 2 make cards for her from her entire family.... plus one from us!!! hehehe....oh well i think i have just about managed it!!!

Just a little catch up

Good Afternoon....I hope that u are still all enjoying this fab weather...I have been 2 busy sitting in the garden rather than making cards...but i am having withdrawl symptoms now...so i will be getting my creative head on over the next day or 2....hehehe...... i have 2 let u know about what i done last night!!!

Last night i went to see a spiritual medium (this was the first time i have ever been 2 anything like this, but i will definately go back in a couple of years).......and wow...is all i can say......my dad (my real hero) died really suddenly on 25th April 2007 and being a real daddies girl i was really affected ( I still am...but i have learned to deal with it a bit better).....and last night he came through 2 me....I know that there are a lot of sceptics out there but the medium told me things that only me and Derek (my hubby) knew.....i am still totally amazed and still sob thinking about what she said 2 me.....My dad was the world 2 me and i am so pleased 2 know that he really is watching over me and my gorgeous family.....it has taken me 2 years 2 pluck up the courage to go, but i am so glad that i waited that extra bit longer.....So thanx Dad...i love you sooooo much and miss u even more.....xxxxx

Anyway as i am typing through my tears...i better go and get a tissue before i electricute myself...hehehe.....luv n hugs Lesley xxx
