Jehkotar Card challenge

well this is my last post for 2night...was that a sigh of relief I heard...hehehe....I have used the sketch from Jehkotar for this one.....I got 2 use 1 of my new sugar nellies that i bought at the SECC...hehehe....so i was a happy bunny....instead of using this as a full image i cut it up the middle 2 create 2 images....I hope that it looks ok...hehhee....anyway i just thought this would be slightly different....i hope that u like it...luv n hugs Lesley xxxx

My Weekend

Well I have had a fab weekend.....On sat I had a fantastic crafting day...well whilst the kids are away...i shall play...hehehe....and then on Sat night i went to a fancy dress party with my bestest friend Kaz...lol...I went as Cruella DeVil and she went as a nun (and believe me she is no nun!!!)...hehehe...It was a fab night and i won 3rd prize...(woo hoo) a halloween goody bag...lol...Then 2day we went to the SECC and as u can tell from the photos I am a little spent out...oh well what can I say...I needed a Sugar fix.....and no not a bar of chocolate (although that would have been a lot cheaper)...hehehe...it was a sugar nellie fix....and boy did i get one...we had 2 journeys back 2 the car...2 drop off our goodies....and when i went back for another sugar fix later....i had totally 4got what stamps i had bought earlier...(well my mind was buzzing with all the goodies that surrounded me)...lol....and i ended up doubling on one of the stamps that i had already bought....(much 2 Kaz's delight cause she didnt have the one that i had doubled on....see i am a good friend...hehehe...oh well i hope that u have all had a fab weekend...I have mounted all my stamps onto eazimount and am just about to have a little play....so thanx 4 looking...luv n hugs Lesley xxxxx

Whilst The Kids are away.....

Well My kids went away with my mum last night... til Sunday....so I have been busy catching up with Blog Challenges...hehehe...I done all the housework last night so that I have more time for crafting...lol....I am missing them already....but it is nice to have a little bit of me time....i have crafting planned for 2morow during the day then me and my best friend Kaz are going 2 a fancy dress party 2morow night....not sure what 2 go as yet....hmmmm it might be Cruella De Vil....as I have that costume...lol....not a great look when ur a childminder though!!!! hehehe....and then on Sunday we (me and Kaz) are going to the craft fair at the SECC to buy lots of goodies.....OOhhh I am sooo looking 4ward 2 it...hehehe...well I hope that u are all going 2 have a fab weekend...and hopefully I will get back on 2morow 2 upload any cards that I make...take care all...luv n hugs Lesley...xxxx

Been Busy and Soooo Proud

Well 2day I ended up with an unscheduled day off....(I am a childminder...and the kids I was due 2 be watching were sick:( so me and my youngest Ellie (3)...ended up having a little craft session.....OOhhh and as I was making a card and she was busy with her colouring....well so I thought until she said.."mummy does that spell my name".....oohhh I was so chuffed she had wrote her own name..(1st time)....I am soooo proud of her because she has never even attempted it before....will upload a photo...hehehe....anyway below are a few cards that I made 2day and 2nite...lol....thanx 4 looking....

Oh Oh...Looks Like I will be buying Shop Bought Christmas Cards...lol...

Well my mum has just popped in 2 tell me she a proposition for me...(hmmm sounds ominous)...lol... Her bowling club are having a open evening and they have asked her if they could sell my cards on my behalf.....well I have no problem with this whatsoever...(I have said that I would donate £1 for every card sold...but they said no...its an open evening not a fundraiser)...who am I 2 argue...lol....but they want a lot of Christmas cards....I have made about 60 Christmas cards so far (supposed 2 be 4 me...lol)....so it looks like I will be buying shop bought...hehehe....and they have asked if it would be ok for them to also take orders for special cards....OOhhhh magic......I have told my mum that they will probably have 2 cap it at 30 Christmas Card orders....as I wouldn't be able 2 make much more...as the open evening isn't until 15th November...and I would't want to let anyone down...do u think I have done the right thing????.....oohhh ur opinions matter....what would u do????luv n hugs Lesley xxxx

Hi...I have been busy....but cant upload just now...incase they have a peek...lol....

Friendship card for Suzy Sue

Well I can upload this card now..as I know that Suzy has received it..lol...I just love this image...i have watercoloured the image and matted and layered onto some raspeberry card.... I used 3 papermania backing sheets from the Creative Tones Range (raspberry champagne), I embellished with a few flowers and a bow and the sentiment reads "Time passes...friendship stays... right where its put"....thanx 4 looking...xxx

Hi...I have had gr8 fun 2day....(apart from having a sore back)....this is made using the Sketch Sat layout....I used a couple of backing papers....imaged has been matted and layered onto Green, Red and then silver mirri board....I added a ribbon and a few snowflakes....and the sentiment banner reads Happy Christmas...thanx 4 looking...xxx

Papertake weekly (sketch # 12)

Well I have had a very productive day....lol....I have also made a friendship card 4 my friend on the docrafts site...but wont upload it onto here until I know that it has been recieved...These challanges are getting my christmas cards done in no time...lol....I used 2 Christmas backing papers on the card base...Then I added a penny black stamp that I watercoloured and then cut out using my nesties...(I defo wouldn't be without them now)....lol....then matted again onto some green matt stack card...I mounted another Christmas paper onto some mirri card and added a piece of ribbon then I embellished with snowflakes and finally a Happy Christmas Banner...thanx 4 looking...xx

Well I managed 2 get another challenge card done this evening....lol....Tilda image has been watercoloured and matted onto some silver mirri card...used a Rasperry coloured backing card from my DCWV matt stack then I layered a sheet of papermania creative tones (raspberry champagne)...added a bit of ribbon and some flowers 2 embellish....I hope that u like it....xxx

This 1 is made following ABC K is for Katharina....and Cute Card Thursday (Christmas Animals)...I have used black mirri card for the base of the card...then matted on some christmas paper..and added some white ribbon....The image is a Penny Black stamp...that has been watercoloured..then matted and layered onto some red card and then mirri card....and finally embellished with a Season's Greetings Banner and some Snowflakes...thanx 4 looking...xxxx

Sorry this is a really bad picture...someone must have mucked about with my camera settings...lol...(probably Ellie)...lol...I have used the sat sketchers layout....believe it or not but that is bright red mirri card on the back....lol...then black mirri card that i sprayed with (Nexts Glitter Body Spray)...(a little tip I learned from my good blogger friend Joey) U must check out her blog its fab http://joeysworldofstuff.blogspot.com/ ....anyway back to the card...lol...added a papernation snowman decoupage...then put some black velvet ribbon on and added some little sparkly gems...then finally matted and layered some snowflakes....sentiment Happy Christmas...Thanx 4 looking...again I apologise 4 the photo...xxx

Lili of the Valley Challenge 1 (welcome)

Well hello everyone...I cant believe that we r in October already....lol....Anyway this is 4 a the Lili of the Valley first Challenge (welcome)....I must start by apologising 4 the photos...Someone 4got 2 take a photo of all the stages....(that would be me)...lol...I just remembered when I stuck it all 2gether....lol....anyway made 4 my mum's friends Daughter... Largest layer is decoupaged....middle layer has a pink girlie dress, 3 yellow ducks, and 2 safety pin (die-cut) with the words Tiny hands...and Tiny feet...Top Layer has all details..Name, weight, date of Birth and time....with a baby bootie in the middle...that I have cut out of cream Pearl card and added some pink liquid pearls to decorate...On the lid I added some pink ribbon and tied 2 dummy embellishments to the ends of the ribbon...anyway..I hope that u forgive me 4 the way the photos have been done...lol....xx
