Why does Christmas never go smoothly??? sorry this is sooo long!!!

Merry Christmas everybody!!!!! I hope that u all had a fabby time....and that u all ate and drank loads...hehehe....And i mainly hope that Christmas all went smoothly for you!!!!....my christmas day started at 545am when i couldn't sleep, so i got up and had a shower and was secretly hoping that i would wake the kids so we could go downstairs 2 see if santa had been....hehehe....my hubby Derek thinks i am totally mad and gives me a row every year for setting my alarm for 6am so i can wake the kids.....hehehe....hence the reason i sneaked into the shower...lol....anyway my cunning plan worked...pmsl...and when i emerged from the bathroom my son conor was in bed beside his daddy...aww bless....poor little Ellie-pie was still fast asleep in her nice cosy bed....well until i go in her room!!! i really am evil!!!! anyway once the kids were fully awake and i was dressed we headed down 2 see if santa had been ....and boy had he been!!!!! there were parcels everywhere!!!! i think i will be asking santa for an extension next year!!!!...so our morning was fantastic!!!!.....we always go to dereks mum and dads at 10am so off we trotted and again everyone was totally spoiled!!! then we go 2 the cemmetry to visit my dad...not soo nice but i need 2 feel him near me especially at christmas!!!!....and then it was back home for a quick tidy up before my brother bigbadbazabing and bestest friend Kazabing come 2 visit!! (they are a couple, but me and kaz have been friends longer)...hehehe....she blames me for them getting 2gether....oopps in case bazabings reading this i mean she thanx me for getting them 2gether!!! hehehe...then again more pressies and coffee and nibbles...and then my mum, and my dads cousin Marilyn come 2 visit with again more pressies....by now i am needing a 3 storey extension!!!! and its my Ellies bday on the 10th Jan....where i am gonna put anything else!!!!! answers on a postcard please!!!! well the afternoon was a complete success everyone ate , drank and were jolly....kaz and baz left at about 2pm as they were having my mum and Marilyn for dinner so they had 2 get organised....and my mum and marilyn left at about 330pm.....so then there was just the 4 of us!!! bliss....i poured myself a little vodka and lemonade and proceeded to put the tatties on!!!...now none of us like turkey so i was really organised and on xmas eve i made a massive pot of stew in my slow cooker and i made the soup as well so that i only had to make mashed and roated potatoes oh and the pastry on xmas day!!! well i thought i was being clever until i was heating up the soup and thought i had better try it 2 see if it was hot enough...and well it certainly didnt taste how it had on xmas eve!! there was a vinegarry twang!!! yip the leeks in my soup had gone off!!!! i didnt even have a tin of soup in the cupboard!!!! oh well at least the stew was delicious as were the tatties, and pastry...it was when we were halfway through our main meal that i suddenly remembered that i had forgotten 2 take the cheesecake out of the freezer...oopps...oh well a 1 course dinner it was....hehehe....anyway we still managed 2 stuff ourselfs and have a laugh....so me and Derek had settled down 2 watch the telly( the kids were upstairs playing with all there new toys) until about 6.05when there was a crash and a scream!!! Conor had slipped on his bed and burst his lip...oh and yes u guessed it a casualty job!!!! so by 630 after frantacly phoning my Mother in law me and Gloria were sitting up in casualty (i had had 2 many vodkas 2 drive) and glo doesnt drink (thank god).... conor needed 3 stitches on his lip....and boy did he scream...i was sat with tears streaming my face as it was awful 2 see him in soo much pain....getting the anasthetic was bad...but so was getting stitched!!!! But when we were walking out of casulty conor managed 2 get his sense of humour back and said mum...u can call me Mr Fatlip!!! i nearly wet myself laughing!!! we managed 2 get home for about 8.30 where derek and little ellie were awaiting us!!! I was absolutely knackered!!! but hey i can laugh about it now!!! so i truely hope that ur christmas was a little better than mine!!!! luv n hugs Lesley xxxx

A little Ramble hehehe (and a few challenges)

Hello!!!! I cant believe that i haven't been on here for a few days again....time really does fly...and not when ur having fun either....Me, Derek and the kids woke on Thursday Morning to find that someone had smashed the back passenger window of my car.....i was sooo angry!!!!! it would have to be my lovely car and not his old banger..lol..which was parked right behind mine!!!!....so a trip 2 autoglass it was......and i have 2 add that it was blooming well freezing.....the nearest autoglass 2 me is 9 miles away.....i was like a icicle by the time i got there.....hehehe...oh well at least i can laugh....but i certainly wasn't laughing at the time....hehehe...anyway....on Sat night the kids went to my In-Laws and me and the hubby wrapped all the kids pressies...(and i got to watch Strictly Come dancing and the X Factor in Peace...it was bliss)...and well deserved after the bad day on Thursday!!!!....anyway sorry for rambling on!!!

Good evening fellow bloggers....I am on early 2nite so that i can get crafting while watching I'm a Celebrity Final....I was soooo glad when David got voted off last night....hehehe....not fussy who wins though....lol...anyway enough of that and lets get back 2 the crafting talk.....hehehe

Well good afternoon fellow bloggers....i have been a little busy making my calendars for my mum and my MIL.....but this is what i have came up with so far..... (I still have another June 2 do....but i will add that later)...hehehe..... I have made june using the sketch from Mojo Monday....i hope that it is ok....the image i received in a swap...but i am thinking that i might have 2 buy this as it is sooooo cute....lol....oh well another item 2 add 2 my list for santa....hehehe...and i thought the kids had big lists....lol....

My calendar challenge Jan and Feb

well as i have 2 calendars 2 make i thought that i would encorporate some challenges into them.....so staring with Jan....I made this using the Ismaki layout.....I am making the calendar similar as they are going 2 my mum and mother in Law....and it makes it a little easier for me....hehehe...i hope that u like Jan....xxx

Ohhh I had a couple of hours 2 make a few more christmas cards 2day....oh and an anniversary card for my In-Laws...so i hope that u like them...again i wont bore u with the detail....as 2 be honest i would love 2 get 2 bed at a reasonable time....hehehe....although i have a day off 2morow and the schools are off 2 so we can all have a long lie...hahaha....i wish...so here i go with the card that i made 2day....

Christmas cards...

well i have written all the Christmas cards that I have already made 2day..... and I just have another 32 to make....yeee haaa....lol..

A couple more challenges

well I managed 2 get another few challenge cards done this evening hehehe....

The first one is for Stamp Something Friday challenge...which was a fab sketch this week....and I loved this stamped image i received from a friend.....it was stamped all in a row but i cut up the images and mounted them onto green then silver mirri card....the papers are from my stash...i added a little bit of ribbon and a few snowflakes cut out of red mirri card 2 finish....xx

This Card is made using the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog....the image again is received from a friend...i do have fabulous friends dont I....hehehe......and the papers are from my stash...i didnt think it needed anything else....xx

And the third and final card for this evening is for the Everybody Art Challenge which the theme was Blue and Brown....the image is my own....lol.....the papers are from my stash.....the snowflake looks white but i promise that its light blue....hehehe...and embellished with a little bit of ribbon...xx

Ive had a busy crafting day...
